Established in 1996 in the heart of vibrant Withington Village, The Eye Team is an independent Opticians providing eye care and eyewear to the good people of Manchester and beyond, welcoming both NHS and Private patients to our practice. Over the years we have become known in Withington for our approachability and friendliness, always helpful and ready for a chat.
As an independent practice, we offer personalised eye care tailored to your needs. Our clinic features advanced diagnostic technology and full disabled access, ensuring comfortable and professional care for patients of all ages.
We provide NHS-funded urgent eye care assessments and treatment for a range of sudden eye conditions.
We offer cataract referral assessments and support throughout your cataract treatment journey, including post-operative care where appropriate.
The testing room is equipped with the latest technology using digital cameras and computerised eye examination charts allowing us to examine the very young to the very old. The practice was also designed to enable full disabled access for all our patients throughout.
GLASSES WEARERS
From the fun and trendy “Geek Chic” range, to our lightweight “invisible” frames, classic and timeless styles and glasses with plenty of crystal sparkle or designer panache, we aim to provide affordable eyewear for everybody.
We are all here to help and advise you on the right eyewear for you. And we will be totally honest too. If the frame doesn’t fit correctly or a better shape or colour is available we will point you in the right direction. Obviously, looking great is only part of the equation!
During your eye examination with us we will discuss the various lenses available to provide you with the optimal visual correction. Varifocals, bifocals, multi anti-reflection coated lenses and lenses that change colour when the sun comes out?
